WHAT IT IS
EZETIMED 10 (Ezetimibe), also known as Zetia, Ezetrol, or Ezedoc, is a medication designed to reduce high cholesterol levels.

Ezetimibe lowers total cholesterol, “bad” cholesterol (LDL cholesterol), and triglycerides in the bloodstream while increasing levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL cholesterol).

It works by decreasing the amount of cholesterol absorbed from the digestive tract. Ezetimibe also enhances the cholesterol-lowering effects of statins, a class of drugs that lower cholesterol produced by the body.

HOW TO USE
The recommended dosage is one Ezetimibe 10 mg tablet taken orally once daily.

Ezetimibe can be taken at any time of day and can be consumed with or without food. If you are taking Ezetimibe alongside a statin, both medications can be administered simultaneously.
