WHAT IT IS
LIVAMED 1 (Pitavastatin Calcium) is a member of the statin class of medications, used to manage levels of lipids (fats) in the bloodstream.

Pitavastatin is prescribed to lower elevated total cholesterol (TC) and LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) levels in adults suffering from primary hypercholesterolemia, including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and mixed (combined) dyslipidemia.

HOW TO USE
You may take it at any time of day; however, it is advisable to take the tablet at the same time daily, preferably in the evening.

Initially, the standard dosage is 1 mg once daily. After a few weeks, you can consider increasing the dosage if needed, but the maximum recommended dose for adults is 4 mg per day.

For individuals with liver issues, the dosage should not exceed 2 mg per day.
